Samsung is currently developing a new generation of its smartwatches under the name Galaxy Watch Ultra, expected to be officially launched in 2026. According to recent reports, the watch is being developed internally under the codename Galaxy Watch 9 Ultra, suggesting it could be a direct competitor to the upcoming Apple Watch Ultra 3.
This watch may be the second generation of the Ultra series and will likely reach the market as the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, according to the latest predictions from Digital Trends, as reported by Mobi alo.
While details are scarce, the new watch is expected to build upon the strong foundation of its predecessor, with significant improvements including a larger screen, a higher-capacity battery, a durable design with premium materials like titanium, and LTE connectivity.
Leaks also indicate Samsung's intention to use a new, more energy-efficient processor in the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 and the Watch 9 series, which could significantly boost performance and extend battery life.
