After weeks of anticipation, OnePlus has officially announced the Ace 6T in China. This phone is the first to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, a chip that's one step lower than the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. It also boasts the company's largest battery to date, with a capacity of 8,300 mAh.
This massive battery supports 100W fast charging, which, according to the company, can charge the Chinese version of the OnePlus 15R from 1% to 50% in just 23 minutes. The device also supports overclocking, as well as wired reverse charging.
To ensure temperatures remain low during intensive use, OnePlus has incorporated a vapor chamber cooling system with a heat dissipation area of 43,940 mm². The company asserts that this system helps the Ace 6T operate at approximately two degrees lower temperatures than its competitors during demanding gaming sessions.
In terms of gaming performance, OnePlus indicates that it has added several improvements to the Chinese version of the OnePlus 15R. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor comes with WiFi 2G and a dedicated touch response chip, delivering a smooth and competitive gaming experience.
The display aims to provide exceptional responsiveness with a 165Hz refresh rate and a touch sampling rate of up to 3,200Hz. The company says the screen incorporates leading technologies such as Rain Touch 2.0 for improved touch sensitivity when wet, as well as a high-end ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for faster and more accurate unlocking.
The phone features a dual rear camera setup led by a 50MP main sensor, along with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage, and supports WiFi 7.
Pre-orders for the phone in China start at 2,599 yuan, which is approximately $367. It is scheduled for a global release as the OnePlus 15R on December 17, 2025.
