One UI 8.5 for the Galaxy S24 series is now available globally
Samsung began rolling out the stable One UI 8.5 update, based on Android 16, to the Galaxy S24 series last week, but it was initially only available to users in the US and South Korea. Today, the company is making it available globally.
If you haven't received a notification yet, please manually check for the software update by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install. If that doesn't work, you may need to wait a day or two for it to arrive.
One UI 8.5 brings a host of new features and changes, contrary to what the version name might suggest. You'll get new AI features within Galaxy AI, such as more powerful photo editing tools and a smarter Bixby assistant.
