Elon Musk has launched a new encyclopedia called Groovepedia, aiming to rival traditional Wikipedia. It incorporates a unique technology that makes edits contingent on approval by its AI model, Groove.

According to a report by The Verge, any user can access Groovepedia and make edits, but these will only be approved after review by Groove, which examines sources and decides whether to accept or reject the changes.

This feature is included in version 0.2 of the encyclopedia, which contains over 800,000 articles generated by Groove. Users can either edit content directly or submit suggestions to the AI for rewording.

Unlike Wikipedia, which relies on human editors to review edits, Groovepedia depends entirely on Groove for editing management. There is no complete transparency regarding approved edits, although more than 22,000 have been approved so far.

The lack of restrictions on the type of edits means that "GROC" is the final arbiter in accepting content, reflecting Musk's philosophy of building a free and independent information library from external influences.
