While the company claims this upgrade allows the phone to charge up to 75% in just 30 minutes, real-world usage has shown faster charging speeds than Samsung's official claims.
According to a user on the X platform, real-world usage has shown the Galaxy S26 Ultra charging up to 80% in 30 minutes, compared to Samsung's stated 75%, as reported by the mobile news site SamMobile and reviewed by Mobi Alo.
In the following seven minutes, the charge level reaches 91%, and it reaches 100% in 50 minutes. While these figures aren't the best on the market, they are still excellent.
Its main competitor, the iPhone 17 Pro Max, Apple's latest flagship phone, can charge up to 65% in 30 minutes and takes 1 hour and 12 minutes to fully charge.
Samsung does not include a charger in the box of the Galaxy S26 Ultra, but it has released a 60W charger to maximize the phone's charging speed.
