The new series includes the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra.

According to Samsung, the new Galaxy series offers users a range of AI-powered features, from managing plans and searching for information to enhancing content, all with fewer steps and effort.

As the third generation of Samsung's AI-enhanced smartphones, the new series can handle complex tasks in the background using Agentic AI, allowing users to focus on results rather than the technology's mechanics.

The phones also enable users to automate multi-step tasks, reducing manual interaction and understanding the user's personal context.

The Now Nudge feature offers timely, intelligent suggestions. For example, if a friend asks the user for photos from a trip, the phone will automatically suggest images from the photo gallery.

The phones also integrate messages with calendar and notifications, while the Now Brief feature provides summaries, proactive alerts, reminders for bookings, travel, and appointments, and helps organize the day based on user behavior.

The Circle to Search feature, developed in collaboration with Google, allows for the identification of multiple elements within an image at once, such as searching for clothing or products within the same picture.

Another update in the phone series is the Bixby intelligent conversational agent, which provides natural language interaction and complete device control without requiring precise technical commands.

The phones integrate multiple AI agents, such as Gemini and Perplexity, to perform tasks with a single button or voice command.

Regarding AI features in the camera and photography, Samsung offers an AI-powered ISP camera system that enhances skin tones, delivers finer details in low light, and provides real-time intelligent image processing, as stated on the company's website.

Users can also edit photos via text commands, such as changing the scene from day to night, adding missing elements, repairing damaged parts, and adjusting clothing within the image.

Samsung set the price of the base Galaxy S26 in the US at $899, a 4.7 percent increase over the previous model, the Galaxy S26 Plus at $1,099, a 10 percent increase, and the Galaxy S26 Ultra at $1,700.
