The Magic V6 supports faster 80W wired charging and 66W wireless charging, compared to 66W/50W on the Magic V5, but you'll need to purchase a compatible charger.
The back of the case attempts to mimic the suede texture of the phone's back panel, but it's not quite as smooth. However, it does feature the same color-shifting effect as the phone itself—the contrast of the red color changes depending on the viewing angle.
The case also includes a smart kickstand integrated around the camera module.
The Honor Magic V5 was a pioneer in the foldable phone market. It was one of the most powerful foldable phones of last year, boasting IP58 and IP59 ratings and a larger 5820mAh battery than most traditional flagship phones.
The Magic V6 offers improvements in all of these areas. To begin with, the phone is slightly thinner while maintaining roughly the same weight. But what's truly impressive is its significantly larger 6,660mAh battery, constructed from a silicon-carbon blend. This battery boasts a higher energy density with approximately 25% more silicon.
The camera system remains largely unchanged. It features almost the same triple-lens main camera setup: a 50MP wide-angle lens, a 64MP 70mm telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens. It also includes two 20MP front-facing cameras.

However, Honor has upgraded the image stabilization to 6.5, an industry-leading rating according to CIPA standards.
Honor claims that the phone's 7.95-inch foldable display has the least visible crease compared to other foldable phones. Specifically, they state that the crease is 44% less deep than on the V5, and the internal screen is 33% more impact-resistant.
The cover screen is now slightly larger at 6.52 inches (compared to 6.43 inches previously). This is a welcome change for those who prefer a more traditional smartphone experience when using the foldable phone when it's closed.
