Infinix GT 50 Pro unboxing

Just announced and now available in stores, the Infinix GT 50 Pro is a premium smartphone packed with innovative gaming features.

The Infinix GT 50 Pro comes in Midnight Black, Fiery Red, and Ice Silver, with two storage options: 12/256GB or 12/512GB. Prices start at IDR 6,499,000 (approximately USD 376 / €330), and it goes on sale tomorrow. Let's take a look at what's in the box.

The phone comes with a 45W charger, a USB cable, and a magnetic ring case on the back.

These magnets are essential for using the GT 50 Pro with Infinix's new MagCharge Cooler 2.0 accessory, which we'll also be showcasing.

The accessory magnetically attaches to the back of the phone and provides 15W wireless charging, as well as 12W thermoelectric cooling (TEC). Infinix claims this feature is a first in the industry.

You can also enable Direct Wireless Charging, which delivers power directly to the motherboard while you're gaming.

In terms of specifications, the Infinix GT 50 Pro features a Dimensity 8400 SoC with a large core. It comes with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.

The phone is available with either a 6500mAh or 6150mAh battery, supporting 45W wired charging, 30W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wired charging.

The 6.78-inch AMOLED display has a 144Hz refresh rate and a brightness of up to 4500 nits.

The GT 50 Pro feels luxurious and premium in your hand. The red color we received is striking, and the completely flat design will appeal to most users.

Now, back to the innovative features. The phone features a dynamic RGB lighting array on the back, integrated with a HydroFlow liquid cooling system that covers an impressive 6437 mm².

The liquid cooling system is truly impressive. Simply flip the switch, and you'll see the coolant circulating across the back of the phone.

It's a clever visual touch, but of course, the real magic lies behind the panel and around the processor.

The Infinix GT 50 Pro also has side buttons that are smarter than most phone buttons these days. They aren't physical buttons, but their haptic feedback perfectly mimics them. These buttons feature ten levels of adjustable pressure sensitivity and eight control points.

They're not just for gaming; you can also use them to launch apps and control zoom levels in the camera app.
