The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, unveiled last July, is expected to receive a new generation within a few months, so its price is anticipated to drop, making it a more attractive option for potential buyers.

However, if you live in the US and plan to purchase the Galaxy Z Fold 7, you'll have to pay more, as this foldable phone from the Galaxy series, slated for release in 2025, has seen a price increase there.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is available in three storage options in the US – 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB – which were initially priced at $2,000, $2,120, and $2,420, respectively. Following price adjustments, the 512GB model now costs $2,200, while the 1TB model is priced at $2,500. The price of the 256GB model remains unchanged.

If the high price of the Galaxy Z Fold7 is any indication, the Galaxy Z Fold8, due out in July, could be significantly more expensive for the same amount of RAM and storage. Given current component prices, we doubt Samsung can do much about it.
